2. Bulk your item together. If your putting your $10 item on sale for $8 then market the item as 3 for $25. It boosts sales, you make up your money back by volume and customers feel like they’re getting a bargain.
3. Coupon codes with a twist. Let’s say you send out an email to your customers saying: Shop now and receive 10%, 20% or 25%. Click here for your code.’ After they click, they receive a 30% off coupon code or even a 35% off coupon code. You better believe they are running to your site to buy something before any one realizes they beat the system. And not only that, they are going to phone their family and friends telling them about this ‘glitch.’ You just made at least 2 orders with this ‘glitch.’
4. Run a giveaway contest for the sole purpose of retaining email addresses. After they sign up for the giveaway, email them offering 10% off next purchase or free gift with next purchase. They might not buy anything at that moment but they wil check out your site to see if they do want something. They now know you exist.
