Professional vs Amateur

Last week, Kanye had a message via a radio podcast for Tony Hseih, the CEO of Zappos: “Meanwhile, he sells all this s— product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s— product.”

Zappos replied back via twitter: “Interested in buying sh-t product? You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell s— products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris.”

This is a genius answer specifically because it follows Zappos mission statement- great customer service. Instead of stooping down to Kanye’s level, they beat him at his own game. They ‘agreed’ with him because at the end of the day, the customer is always right. That is the key to great customer service!
